THE BUSINESS
The Flying Valentis is a Detroit based band who creates instrumental music with a nod to blues, funk and indie rock. Their first EP is inspired by themes of aviation, as noted in the song titles.
THE SOLUTION
While creating their brand that would be implemented across albums, marketing, merchandise and more, I took inspiration from retro airplane advertisements. I created a custom logotype that gives a nod to retro styles, created custom graphics inspired by aviation and established a bold color palette that evoked the feeling of their music.
